Me and my baby have some really interesting conversations. The other morning, on our way to work, we heard something on the news about how sex offenders won't be allowed within 100 feet of any public parks. We got to talking about that. I don't remember right now all the details of the news cast or of the conversation that ensued. But it seems that there is often a lot of fear about how criminals are treated. It seems to me that the scum of society should get the short end of the stick. They shouldn't get special treatment or anything.

This article was really interesting to me. Especially considering how recently this occured. We also need to keep in mind that not just anybody is going to be hauled into court. They have to be a suspect beyond a reasonable doubt. There may be instances where an innocent man is taken to court, but I think it's worth the risk. I'm sure that if an innocent man (like me, for instance) knew that he could help save the lives of judges, security guards, and bystanders, he would be more than happy to submit to chains and shackles on the off-chance he is a suspect in a high-profile case.

I'm not even being very literate about this, but it's so stupid that there is so much concern for capital murder defendants. I mean, I know OJ was innocent (tongue in cheek).... but most suspects taken to court on capital murder charges are found guilty. Right? I can't find a statistic right now to back it up, but I just have a feeling.

As for the runaway bride, why is there so much concern about that? Did she personally ask for $40,000+ to be spent to find her. I thought that's what taxes were for. To pay the police officers so that they can help us out in situations like this, where a family member or loved on comes up missing. As for her lie about being abducted, fine. So she should be fined for that. But she lied after all that money had been spent. It wasn't that lie that caused all the money to be spent. Was it? Am I terribly misinformed? Dave Chappelle ran away too. But he's good for liberals, and so the media isn't going to criticize his escape. He opens the minds of us conservatives with his filth. What a loss of focus by the media. I just don't get it. I really don't. I just want to forget about it and live my life and keep to myself.

But I'm super-excited to go visit the baby goats again.
